This week Tod walks you through how we edit videos using CapCut. We also have pictures of Crokell and Dante playing with each other. We end with a tip of the week and a small writing update.
Oh, if anyone is curious about the pauses where the judge talks to Anna, she is explaining what points deductions Anna got in the preceding exercises. Not all judges do this - but a lot of people in this trial were brand new to the sport and really appreciated it.
Ow. Sorry to hear about the laptop casualty. I once made the mistake of using an Apple laptop connected to an external monitor, keyboard and mouse while I kept the laptop closed. Those metal shell laptops trapped a ton of heat, which caused it to overheat and crash. Always, always, always check what a so-called internet expert says. 🤦♂️
Anyway, loved the photos of the pups and the lessons on video processing. 👏
I (Tod) never considered that having the laptop lid shut would hurt the laptop. Since COVID, I've worked from home, with my PC laptop - lid shut - plugged into a real keyboard, mouse, and monitor.
It was an earlier model of MacBook (those got pretty hot), about 2003 or so, and I was using a pretty visual processor-intensive app (playing video games). 🤷♂️

Aw, they are playing good together!
Thanks for the run down on CapCut.
It doesn't compress video as much as I wish, but its so much easier to use than the other options I've tried, I'm pretty happy with it.
And they are awesome playing together. Crokell is so careful with Dante - even when he lays down on his little brother to get him to slow down.
