What to Wear During a Hurricane
This week has been a ride up and down and side to side. If I wasn’t tired I would be dizzy from it all. We started with a small hurricane, if there is anything small about any hurricane, and ended with figuring out a new way to help me handle outlining and with the news we should be getting a new puppy sometime soon! I am super excited for that. We were supposed to have a dog competition somewhere in there, but Houston is having power issues so that was cancelled. Crokell got the day off. He was find with that - he had a nice nap and then some.
Because we are going to be doing more dog competitions, and because I am girl enough to never know what to wear to them, Tod got us some cool shirts. So, now I have dog competition gear. Woot!
Plus, maybe, just maybe we’ll pick up some readers at the dog show.

Front
The front has a small chaos critters logo with the our Newfie and cyan chaos symbol.
Back
The back has large version of the chaos critters logo with a QR code and our blog info… I think Tod sees these advertising. But still they are fun.
Take Away
I think Tod has a new skill, T-shirt logo design and advertising merch.
Still, the shirts are adorable. Although now I want one featuring each of our animals… Maybe someday.
Writing updates
We have been plugging away. A little slower than usually with the small hiccup in power outages. However, Tod has figured out how to turn the outlines we had into nice paragraph format for the novel. He is going to hand it back to me so that I work on that. Tod redid a chapter on our new fantasy novel that had gone off the rails too. I worked on expanding a chapter in the Nano-Sapiens novella that both Tod and I are working on.
Our current working protocol for the novella is that Tod does his terse version of the story, and I come behind and expand it out. So we go from minimal outline, the maximal outline, to actual story.
Hope everyone else is having a good week. Now, I need to go review Crokell’s Trick Dog performance with him. Hopefully he will be ready for the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and Trick Dog tests next week.
