Sunday Salutations and New Bonds
Hope everyone is having a good week. The world appears to still be moving at the same pace… FAST. We are in the last few weeks before Christmas and the New Year is almost upon us. I am not sure how that happened.
This week’s post is going to be a little short as I try to finish up my edits, so we can send out our first novel to our beta readers before the end of the year. We are so close I can almost taste it.
Our niece got married this weekend. Because they are both chemistry nerds, and chemistry in more than one sense brought them together, here is our full blessing for their marriage:
“May the happy couple complete each other and establish a full valence shell that protects them during the trials and the free electrons that are life. May their marriage be a stable electronic configuration. May their bond be not just an intramolecular covalent bond, but a true sigma bond, strong, steady, and enduring. One where their minds meet and overlap until two are almost truly one.”
We wish them and everyone else that solidified or had their life bonds this year happiness and lasting partnerships. We tried to take some author pictures yesterday since we were dressed up for it anyway. Somehow, I like the one best where I have my sunglasses down and my parka on… My sister-in-law’s brother took it as we were leaving.
My favorite part of the wedding was getting to pet the donkeys!
