Sunday Salutations and Merry Christmas (Eve)
Merry Christmas everyone! Tod here! We hope your Christmas is going well. We’re a little under the weather but otherwise surviving.
What is everyone’s favorite Christmas food? For me, Christmas food and New Year’s food tend to blur together, so I like Polish golumpki (stuffed cabbage) and pierogi best!
I’ve been playing with cooking brisket. I did the slow cook method this time, but I don’t think it came out any more tender than the quick pressure cooker method. It might be because we use really lean flat cuts. I might try a fattier cut and see how it comes out.
Anna is continuing to work on edits on our first novel. She’s over halfway through. I’ve been working on audio-listen-throughs and trying to place some of our unpublished stories. We also did a piece of flash fiction and might do another for January.
