I love these Carter holiday stories. It's funny because before these, Brinkley (Newfie), Sunset (Mini American), and Vera (Maine Coon Cat) had the most established personalities. Now, Carter’s pretty realized.
Have you had that with any reoccurring characters?
That happens all the time for me. I was drafting new stories from the alt-history setting I used in my Hooves submission from 2024, and certain characters became more clear in my mind. Mannerisms strengthened, spear carrier type characters became fully fleshed and gained dialogue.
