Spoiler: Sadly, there are no actual explosions. However, Dante discovers the joys of giving at Christmas. And all three four-legged boys help investigate the explosion of presents at their house.
Thank you both for the Christmas update of your ever expanding family! Really enjoyed it! Hope you all had the best holiday season. Eager to see what 2025 brings...
Hi Don! Good to hear from you. We need to send you Dante pictures for a painting of him. Anna says that the fun stories are once a month. Recipes and other randomness the rest of the time.
Merry Christmas, Tod, Anna, and family! The Swamp-doodle enjoys running in the cold weather, but not so much winter beach visits. We had storms roll through, and the waves were hammering the shore, and poor pup's heart rate spiked. We put him in a down and rubbed his back until he calmed down. Unfortunately, lots of other people let their dogs roam free and don't try to exert control. The Feline-muse stays to visit longer the colder it gets. Her thick fur helps, but safety is key for the kitten. A safe, warm place to sleep is the best. 🙂
We have a Shetland Sheepdog, and a Germaneese (Great Pyrenees/German Shepard) They LOVE the cold and snow when we get it. It's been extra mild this winter, so far. Only one tiny snow.

I wonder what Crokell would think of the ocean. He likes water. We might need to find a dog friendly beach to visit.

Crokell is the same way. He doesn't want to come inside when it's cold outside. 55F is "nice". In the 40s he starts wanting to say in back.
Dante just gets crazier outside when it's cooler.
Wish we got snow here! LOL
